A brief report from our man-on-the-spot….
Opening time arrived, and the Frickley Express pulled into Rammy full of confidence on the back of a 2-0 home victory against Mickleover mid-week..
It wasn’t long before the Yorkshire lads had taken control on and off the pitch. First by infiltrating the Rammy Ultras end of the ground undetected..
And then by running rings round their opponents on the pitch as well..
With quarter of an hour gone, Zeph Thomas made like a cooling tower in the box and opened the scoring..
Following a solid defensive rearguard, Tyler Williams then slotted home to double Frickley’s lead ten minutes from time..
And thus register the club’s first away league win in August for nine seasons!
And the Frickley Express left Rammy with 3 points stashed safely in the coal bucket 🙂
The End.
